Typeography
Tipografi is the art of arranging text and letters to make them visually appealing, clear, and legible. It involves selecting the following elements:
typefaces, point sizes, line lengths, line spacing, letter spacing, and spaces between pairs of letters.
The goal of typography is to convey specific messages and evoke certain emotions.
Here are some tips for using typography:
Headlines: Use an expressive font, such as a handwritten, script, or display style, for headlines.
Subtitles: Use a serif or sans serif typeface for subtitles.
Body text: Use a serif or sans serif typeface for body text and related styles.
The history of typography can be traced back to the 11th century, when movable type was invented. The Gutenberg Bible is considered the first example of typography, and the style of type used in it is now known as Textura.
